Risk-Based Inspection Planning
Structured risk assessment for static and rotating equipment, aligned with API 580/581 and regional regulatory requirements. Prioritised inspection schedules that focus resources where risk is highest.
Gulf hydrocarbon facilities carry high-consequence assets on tight production schedules, and many of them are running well past their original design life. We work on the risk side and the measurement side: risk-based inspection planning to API 580/581, integrity assessment, and continuous vibration monitoring on the rotating equipment that production depends on.
Several pressures arrive at once. Facilities designed for 25 years are operating at 35 or more. Corrosion under insulation stays invisible without intrusive inspection. Rotating equipment is pushed harder as production targets rise. At the same time the regulatory frame tightens: ADNOC standards, OSHAD, and sector-specific HSE requirements all move in one direction.
The answer is rarely more inspection. It is inspection aimed at the equipment where the consequence of failure is highest and the condition data is weakest. That is what a risk-based programme is for.

Corrosion modelling, remaining life assessment, and integrity management planning for transmission and distribution pipelines.
03
Continuous and periodic vibration analysis for compressors, pumps, turbines, and generators. Early detection of imbalance, misalignment, bearing defects, and structural resonance.
04
Systematic evaluation of asset criticality across facilities, enabling risk-informed maintenance strategy and capital allocation.
Sensored units mount directly on compressors, pumps, turbines, and critical static equipment. The enclosures are IP65 rated and specified for continuous operation in petrochemical conditions. Sampling to 26.7 kHz gives the bandwidth needed to resolve bearing defect frequencies, which is where the early warning usually lives:
